Numerals
The Javanese script has their own numerals that works the same way as Arabic numerals. If the use of numerals is understood by context, for example as page numbers in the corner of pages, they are written as follows.

If you notice, most of the Javanese numerals has the exact same glyph as some of the basic letters. So most of the time, in order to avoid confusion, numerals must be enclosed with a certain punctuation known as pada pangkat (꧇) and pada lingsa (꧈). For example, if you want to write "the date 17 June" in Javanese it would be written ꦠꦁꦒꦭ꧀꧇꧑꧗꧇ꦗꦸꦤꦶ or ꦠꦁꦒꦭ꧀꧈꧑꧗꧈ꦗꦸꦤꦶ (tanggal 17 juni).
